These pictures were taken a couple of weeks ago where it was still a bit chilly (but sunny though). Therefore I was wearing my beloved rusty red cashmere knit from J.Crew. It has saved me from many outfit crises on those days where it isn’t cold but not warm either.

Can we just all take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this new denim jacket? I have spend so many hours searching for the perfect denim jacket over the years, but no jacket has made me fall in love with this (for many people) wardrobe staple. But this one I’m madly in love with. It is a bit of a new take on the classic denim jacket (like the good old vintage Levi’s one), but I quite like the slightly oversized fit and the darker color. I accidentally stumbled upon it and I didn’t thought much of it at first but I found that it looked so much better on than on the hanger. I think, unfortunately, it is often the other way around (how many times haven’t we all seen something we thought looked amazing and then found it disastrous as soon as we put it on?).
But enough about the jacket… Underneath it I’m wearing a newer addition to my wardrobe, which is this partisan printed turtleneck blouse from Cecilie Copenhagen. Simple, but most definitely not boring. I simply adore this brand and really think you should check it out if you haven’t already. The trousers and boots you have seen a million times before, so nothing to excited to tell about them (other than they both were a really good purchase).

I’m massively into the Gingham trend at the moment. I’m not completely sure why though… I found this pair of trousers in the back of my closet, which I bought a couple of years ago. Finally they are getting some attention as they have (almost) never been worn.

There is something about spring and skirts. It is just a bit more weather appropriate to wear them when the first signs of spring show (at least when we talk about the thin and flowy ones). This ruffled skirt, which I bought back in January (when it was still cold and miserable), has finally seen the daylight. As the ruffle trend is still going strong I know this is going to be a stable piece of mine this season.
